7/19/26 Jeremiah 35 / Matthew 14
Jeremiah 35:18 Then Jeremiah turned to the Recabites and said, This is what the Lord of Heaven's Armies, the God of Israel, says: You have obeyed your ancestor Jehonadab in every respect. Therefore, this is what the Lord of Heaven's Armies, the God of Israel, says: Jehonadab son of Recab will always have descendants who serve me.
Matthew 14:27 But Jesus spoke to them at once. Don't be afraid, he said. Take courage. I am here!
The Holy Spirit has been speaking to us and has lead us to a place of deeper faith and to give us strength in faith He is speaking not just of others of faith but about the help of obeying and walking in the vow of faith
It is hard to picture a vow that has been passed down for hundred of years in a family / seeing all of the trials and the issues of life but yet holding on in faith to the promise of God in a way that one day He comes and uses this as an example of faith
To apply this i question my self / i don't know of a vow in my family and Lord knows that i fall and even getting back up it is still not the same as standing / I need to do better in sharing my faith with those around me for maybe i am the beginning / maybe i am the Recab
Life now is a mess but to think of hope and faith it all has a starting point and a place in time that there is a shift and i want to be a part of honoring the Lord / let it be so
