1/14/26 1 Corinthians 12 / Joshua 23
1 Corinthians 12:1 Now, dear brothers and sisters,[a] regarding your question about the special abilities the Spirit gives us. I don’t want you to misunderstand this. 2 You know that when you were still pagans, you were led astray and swept along in worshiping speechless idols. 3 So I want you to know that no one speaking by the Spirit of God will curse Jesus, and no one can say Jesus is Lord, except by the Holy Spirit.
Joshua 23:14 “Soon I will die, going the way of everything on earth. Deep in your hearts you know that every promise of the Lord your God has come true. Not a single one has failed! 15 But as surely as the Lord your God has given you the good things he promised, he will also bring disaster on you if you disobey him. He will completely destroy you from this good land he has given…

“For by one [Holy] Spirit we were all baptized into one body, [spiritually transformed—united together] whether Jews or Greeks (Gentiles), slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one [Holy] Spirit [since the same Holy Spirit fills each life].”
1 Corinthians 12:13 AMP
“But hold fast to Yahweh your God, just as you have done up to this day.”
Joshua 23:8 LEB
We are all Father God’s children. Adopted or born into His royal family, He is our Father and we are all His children. Each of us is different. Each of us is unique. But, with our individual experiences we all contribute to the Kingdom machine in ways that only we can.
Remaining steadfast in our faith, Hope, expectations, and trust in Father God is required at all times. Regardless of the circumstances, the consistency in our walks is vitally important. Not only is it important to ourselves, but it is also important to whoever is observing and evaluating us. Are we walking the talk? Am I living out what I’m proclaiming with each step? During all times consistently? My own self evaluations and adjustments are constantly required. Holding fast to God’s roadway is only possible because He is there alongside us and because God grants everything needed to take another step ahead.
