6/12/26 Acts 14 / Hosea 10
Acts 14:1 The same thing happened in Iconium. Paul and Barnabas went to the Jewish synagogue and preached with such power that a great number of both Jews and Greeks became believers. Some of the Jews, however, spurned God's message and poisoned the minds of the Gentiles against Paul and Barnabas.
Hosea 10:12 I said, Plant the good seeds of righteousness, and you will harvest a crop of love. Plow up the hard ground of your hearts, for now is the time to seek the Lord, that he may come and shower righteousness upon you.
We get lost in the thing where Paul's Name is in the Bible and set him up as if he never made mistakes of over stated his point of view but the true is that there is no justifying when the people we are seeking to share the Good News with turn so quickly and…

“You have plowed and planted wickedness, you have reaped the [willful] injustice [of oppressors], You have eaten the fruit of lies. Because you have trusted in your own way and your chariots, and in your many warriors,”

There is only One true and Living God. Everything else is counterfeit. Father God is the same Alpha and Omega He has always been. He is the same today and for eternity. Nothing made by man’s hand is authentic. And we are only just beacons, examples, and watchmen for Him and His Kingdom.
Trusting in our own stupid human nature never works out. Trusting in another men’s directing my personal relationship with God, is nothing short of brain damage. My personal relationship is my own. How it works is my own personal choices and connections.
I have zero desire to have my personal relationship with God to be lead around by someone else. It’s my own. It’s my duty and my responsibility. It’s my task to be an active participant in my relationship for myself. I trust in God. I rely upon His guidance, plans, timing, and will. There is a handful of people in my inner circle that I trust of course. But, nobody outranks Father God.
