7/18/26 Proverbs 25 / 2 Chronicles 34
Proverbs 25:4 Remove the impurities from silver, and the sterling will be ready for the silversmith.
2 Chronicles 34:33 So Josiah removed all detestable idols from the entire land of Israel and required everyone to worship the Lord their God. And throughout the rest of his lifetime they did not turn away from the Lord, the God of their ancestors.
This is a lot when you look at Discipleship / Life Change and Character building at the age we are in and the world that we walk / i am sure that it has been this way for each generation but this my time and for me it is heavy
Working to make the changes to get on the right path with the Lord is one thing but letting go of some of the stuff and then seeing the impurities as we move beyond helps to grow and not fear the changes like i use to fighting to hold on to them
To apply this is simple / i seek to change and honor the Lord / i am listening and seeking all that i can to find the ways of honoring God
It gets hard with those He has entrusted but it holds me accountable and humbles me to see His trust as we fight the battles of life together in Him
