3/28/25 / Romans 8 / Joshua 17

Romans 8:33 Who will bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? It is Christ Jesus, who died, yes, who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who indeed intercedes for us. Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will hardship, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Joshua 17:18 But the hill country shall be your, for though it is a forest, you shall clear it and possess it to its farthest borders; for you shall drive out the Canaanites, though they have chariots of iron, and though they are strong.

When i read these words in Romans i feel that the puzzle is coming all together that in my choice of Salvation and excepting Jesus as my Lord and Savior i know in my heart the nothing can separate me from the Love of Christ. Nothing the the enemy can do or say has the power to move me from His Love

He told me that we will have to fight / He called me a warrior and today i see that He will provide and protect us in all of the battles / the enemy has thrown a lot at us with the sickness all around us and has reminded us the weakness of our flesh but i chose to hold on to the truth / i chose to fight not to prove that God is real but because He is real

To apply this / I see God on the throne and Jesus seated next to Him pouring out His covering of Love and Mercy over us today and i feel the welling of strength to stand in faith / I am here to honor the Lord and i will not give in or give up / i am willing to change as God directs and the doors are open in the battles we face

Some days it is very hard as the back ground noise and the pain and fear bet at the door wanting to flood my heart but yet i hear the call to press through the crowd to find the hem of His clothes in my faith / i am praying with those around me the way that i would want them to pray with me / I believe!

“us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭4‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“For you shall drive out the Canaanites, though they have chariots of iron, and though they are strong.””

‭‭Joshua‬ ‭17‬:‭18‬ ‭ESV‬‬

My travels along God’s roadway are always being observed and evaluated by someone, everywhere. How I conduct myself matters. During all circumstances I must remain consistent.

No one is perfect or can achieve perfection. Only the Trinity is. I must stay alert, honest, humble, and transparent with each step. My free will choice to continue traveling God’s roadway is mine to make. I can only be effective if I’m all-in and real.

I’m seeking the next step. But, I can’t turn aside or allow the grounds I’ve covered to fall apart. I need to maintain what I have, remember the workings God has already done, and trust in and expect Him to do it in the future. My heart condition takes constant work to maintain. Numbness is always present and stupid human nature always slinking around. But, God grants the desire, directions, discernment, and strength to press on each day. My active participation is required.
