05Sep26 - Jeremiah 07 / Amos 08
“Do not trust in the deceptive and lying words [of the false prophets who claim that Jerusalem will be protected by God because of the temple], saying, ‘This is the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD.’”
Jeremiah 7:4 AMP
“, that we may offer wheat for sale, that we may make the ephah small and the shekel great and deal deceitfully with false balances,”
Amos 8:5 ESV
I need to use my situational awareness and vigilance in every aspect of my travels along Father God’s roadway. I know His presence and voice because of my relationship. I use the gifts of Godly discernment, interpretations, confirmations, guidance, and wisdom that He continually provides. I know the Living Word because I’m in it. When something contradicts what God is saying, I need to recognize it.
Just because I might be in a church or anywhere else speaking with self professed “believer”, that does not automatically mean they are all-in. It does not mean that particular church or person is in the proper heart condition, alignment, and balance with God. I can trust, but I still must verify.
Whatever and whoever I choose to surround myself with matters. There are countless consequences. I must use the discernment the Holy Spirit gives continually. Prior to taking a step, during, and after I step, I must use what God grants. Asking, listening, confirming, and applying what He is directing. God is beside us always. He remains alongside for eternity. God has tasked me and each of us to be the best beacons and watchmen we are capable of during the daily journeys of doing-life. Whenever and wherever
I am at in the moment, being aware and alert to the possibilities of being a Light or darkness trying to distract my steps is essential.
