9/5/26 Jeremiah 7 / Amos 8
Jeremiah 7:11 Don't you yourselves admit that this Temple, which bears my name, has become a den of thieves? Surely I see all the evil going on there. I the Lord have spoken!
Amos 8:1 Then the Sovereign Lord showed me another vision. In it I saw a basket filled with ripe fruit. What do you see, Amos? He asked I replied A basket full of ripe fruit. Then the Lord said, Like this fruit, Israel is ripe for punishment!
This is a deep one today in that my personal life is not honoring God and or the lives of those around me and those we work with / we are all sinners and very much a part of the darkness that we walk in, But i do hear the Lord and i feel the Holy Spirit stirring the words and the fire with in and all around
I seek to be freed of the sin but without it will i still be useful to the call / i am not saying that it is good to be sinful, i just don't want to be dragged out by my belt
To apply this i seek to be forgiven and i ask for the strength to fill me as the Redeemed of the Lord / i seek to surrender to the will of God i know i can't be sin free but i can be useful to Him in the walk with Him
I must keep my focus on Him and not let myself be pulled or pushed off the path and i need to pray for the ways He provides and protects to be full and complete in my life each day
